Man sees mark of the Beast - cuts off hand

"A man who believed he bore the biblical "mark of the beast" used a circular saw to cut off one hand, then he cooked it in the microwave and called 911, authorities said.
The man, in his mid-20s, was calm when Kootenai County sheriff's deputies arrived Saturday. He was in protective custody in the mental health unit of Kootenai Medical Center.
"It had been somewhat cooked by the time the deputy arrived," sheriff's Capt. Ben Wolfinger said. "He put a tourniquet on his arm before, so he didn't bleed to death. That kind of mental illness is just sad."
It was not immediately clear whether the man has a history of mental illness. Hospital spokeswoman Lisa Johnson would not say whether an attempt was made to reattach the hand, citing patient confidentiality.
The Book of Revelation in the New Testament contains a passage in which an angel is quoted as saying: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink the wine of God's fury."
The book of Matthew also contains the passage: "And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for you whole body to go into hell."
Wolfinger said he didn't know which hand was amputated."

If it where ONLY the “mark” the church (1 Cor.10:32) are to contend with the Scriptures would not separate out “worshipping of the beast”, worshipping his image, taking his mark, taking his name or taking the number of his name.

Any form of worship of the beast whether it is the taking of the mark or any other demonstration of following/worshipping is to be avoided.

If one does not take the mark they will be killed.

It isn't just the MARK!

It isn’t just the MARK of the beast we are to gain victory over; it is gaining victory over –

1. the worshipping of the beast (Re.14:11 Re.15:2 Re.20:4 below)

2. and his image (Re.14:11, Re.15:2, Re.16:2, Re.19:20, Re.20:4 below)

3. over the Mark (Re.13:17, Re.14:11, Re.15:2, Re.16:2, Re.19:20, Re.20:4 below) and

4. over the Name of the beast (Re.13:17 below) and

5. over the Number of his name (Re.13:17, Re.15:2 below).

The church (1 Cor.10:32) will not follow the beasts of Revelation, chapter 13.

No man can pluck out from God’s hand those to whom He gave eternal life (Jn.10:28-29 below).

None of the body of Christ Jesus will be lost (Jn.17:12 below).

Jn.10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.

Jn.10:29 My Father, which gave [them] me ( Eph.1:4), is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand (Jn.10:28 above).

Jn.17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost (Jn.10:28-29 above), but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

Re.13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the MARK, or the NAME of the beast, or the NUMBER of his name.

Re.14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the BEAST and his IMAGE, and whosoever receiveth the MARK of his name.

Re.15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the BEAST, and over his IMAGE, and over his MARK, and over the NUMBER of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

Re.16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the MARK of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his IMAGE.

Re.19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the MARK of the beast, and them that worshipped his IMAGE. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Re.20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not WORSHIPPED the beast, neither his IMAGE, neither had received his MARK upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
